From Our Home to Yours: The Story Behind the Collection

Every product in this collection started with a simple question: "How can I make everyday life a little easier for my family?"

What began as homemade solutions for our own household has grown into a collection designed to help other families as well. Today, I'm giving you a first look at the collection and sharing the inspiration behind each product.

Wellness Sticks: Simple Support for Everyday Life

These wellness sticks were created with busy moms and families in mind. I wanted to create something that was easy to use, convenient to carry, and ready whenever you need it. Their compact size makes them perfect for purses, backpacks, diaper bags, desks, and travel.

When I first began creating wellness sticks, I started with just a few blends that I believed families would use most often. But after attending local events and talking with customers, I quickly realized there were other wellness concerns people were looking for support with. Listening to those conversations helped shape the collection and inspired me to create blends that better met the needs of real families.

The original collection was designed for adults, but one request came up again and again: "Do you have something for kids?" Those conversations led to the development of both a Kids Line and a Baby Line.

The Kids Line is designed for children ages 2 and up, while the Baby Line is specially formulated for little ones ages 6 months to 2 years. Because babies and young children have more delicate bodies, they require different dilution rates and carefully selected ingredients that are appropriate for their age and stage.

My goal is simple: to provide family-friendly wellness solutions that are convenient, thoughtfully formulated, and easy to incorporate into everyday life.

Hand Soaps: Elevating an Everyday Routine

Hand soap is one of the most-used products in any home. From little hands to grown-ups, it's something the whole family reaches for multiple times a day.

Many store-bought soaps contain artificial fragrances, synthetic ingredients, and harsh cleansers that can leave skin feeling dry and uncomfortable. I wanted to create a soap that was both gentle and enjoyable to use—something families could feel good about keeping by the sink.

I also noticed that many traditional bar soaps have an awkward shape that can become difficult to use over time. As they wear down, they often crack, break apart, or become slippery to hold. They can also feel bulky for smaller hands.

That's why I designed these hand soaps differently. Each bar is thoughtfully crafted with carefully selected ingredients and available in my signature scent blends. Their compact 3-ounce size is comfortable for both children and adults to hold, while the round shape allows them to wear down more evenly, helping reduce cracking and waste.

My goal was to take an everyday necessity and turn it into a simple moment of enjoyment—creating a hand soap that's practical, family-friendly, and a pleasure to use every day.

Laundry Powder: Simple Ingredients, Powerful Results

This laundry powder was one of the very first products I made as part of my family's journey toward a more intentional home. In many ways, it's what started everything.

After seeing how well it worked in our own household, I began asking myself, "What else can I replace with simpler ingredients?" That single change created a ripple effect that eventually led to many of the products I create today.

What surprised us most was how effective a few simple ingredients could be. Our laundry powder had to pass a real-life test in our home—keeping up with everyday family laundry while also tackling my husband's barn clothes. Time and time again, it proved that simple doesn't have to mean less effective.

One of the things we love most is how little you need. Just 1–2 tablespoons per load provides excellent cleaning power, making each batch last longer than many people expect. It works well in both traditional and high-efficiency (HE) washing machines, making it an easy switch for most households.

My goal with this laundry powder is simple: provide an effective, family-friendly option that helps make laundry day a little easier while using ingredients you can feel good about bringing into your home.

The Summer Collection

Summer is a season filled with backyard gatherings, evenings on the patio, camping trips, and family adventures. When I began creating my Summer Collection, I wanted products that would help families enjoy more of those moments outdoors.

Patio Shield Candle

The journey started with the Patio Shield Candle. As I researched many traditional candles on the market, I found that they often contain artificial fragrances and ingredients that didn't align with the simple, intentional lifestyle our family was working toward.

I wanted to create a candle made with carefully selected ingredients that families could feel good about using around outdoor living spaces. Whether you're relaxing on the patio, sitting around the campsite, or enjoying a summer evening in the backyard, the Patio Shield Candle was designed to help make those moments more enjoyable.

Adventure Shield Stick

Next came the Adventure Shield Stick.

As a mom, I know that applying outdoor protection to children isn't always easy. Sprays can be difficult to control, and creams can be messy. Many kids don't enjoy having products sprayed near their faces, and parents often find themselves trying to avoid eyes, mouths, and other sensitive areas.

That's why I wanted to create a convenient stick application. The Adventure Shield Stick glides on easily, making it simple to apply to both adults and children while reducing mess and waste. It's compact enough to toss into a diaper bag, backpack, purse, or camping gear, making it a practical companion for outdoor adventures.

Home Shield Outdoor Powder

The final product in the collection was inspired by a challenge many families can relate to: unwanted bugs around the home during the warmer months.

For us, it seemed like certain areas of the house attracted bugs day after day. We'd vacuum them up, only to find more the next afternoon. While discussing the problem with others, someone suggested creating a powder that could be used around outdoor spaces and entry points.

That conversation sparked a lot of research and testing, eventually leading to the creation of Home Shield Outdoor Powder. Designed for use around outdoor living areas, it provides families with another option for helping manage common seasonal pest concerns around the home.

Every product in the Summer Collection was created with one goal in mind: helping families spend more time enjoying summer and less time worrying about the little things that can interrupt it.
